Things for granted!

“Don’t take Things for granted”, I woke up from my afternoon sleep,
yes of course I am at my work station , it’s not the heavy lunch that
made me drowsy, it’s my late night browsing to improvise my blog
design, ah was I caught red handed sleeping in front of my Dell terminal
which is whole mine after the noon shift till night,  no a sigh of
relief it’s not for me anyway I too take things for granted as all of
us does, “this can’t keep on happening, people can’t take things for
granted ” it’s  my manager who was creating the afternoon show for us,
I was wondering, who this episodes victim was. Hmmm not any one in the
floor right now, may be the guy who took off today, it happens when
you are on leave; you get  shouting from your teammates and the
superiors, but do we give a damn,  I looked around like I got
disturbed in my process ( in the sleeping process of course ),  his
voice raised again , it was because no one was listening to him, yeah
actually everyone is listening  but do any one have the guts to tease
a bull which is already on fire!! Again he blasted, this time looking
at the team lead, poor guy he was like what a paralyzed guys will do
when the bull is charging towards him, guess he had a knot in his
tongue,
“did she informed about her off?” everybody turned the
head towards the team lead as if to check whether it was a ‘six or a
catch’, with no interest I too followed the ritual, I too don’t want
to get under the cross fire, he said like a drama queen “No, she is
not picking the call”, ha what a classic reply, this heated up the
tension further, “text her” said the manager, I was like wow you are
finished girl, I thought of texting her don’t come to office for next
two days, take sick leave otherwise everybody in this team will be
sick at least for tomorrow, our senior manager she was glued to her
laptop and didn’t paid any attention to the entire exchange of words
and expressions,
I was looking at the manager like Sir you are just
awesome at screwing people; he asked “what are you looking for?”  it
came and hit like a gun shot on my forehead, ha now everybody was
looking at me except me, I was struggling to press the buzzer, before
I could cook up something I posted a smile on my face I know it will
make him completely insane, he asked “ why are you smiling at me”
thanks to his mobile phone which rang on time, he said, “hello, ya
give a second lemme check my inbox” mean time I was cooking up
something to explain my reason of smiling at the wrong place at the
right time, hooo, no he is busy on his inbox, I carefully got up from
my chair and walked to pantry to get some water, the true elixir of
life had heard somewhere in my life,
I came back to my place even my fellow processor
didn’t noticed me, looking in the monitor my ears was at what the
senior manager is asking our manager, they had some contingency
meeting for which our manager have to participate, but now he is
arguing with our senior manager, that he can’t come, he has got some
important work on that D day, senior manager was really upset and we
all can make it that she was really concerned about the attitude of
our sweet manager who advices his subordinates about taking things for
granted, I thought our senior manager will ask him the same question
and we were all expecting the hit on the right cord, maybe she (
senior manager ) was a gentle women, or she is scared of him ( manager
) taking things for granted guy! and ya he won the argument which
meant that he is not going to come however important meeting was , it
doesn’t matter,

I was thinking how people can take things for granted
boss, or is it the position from which we take things for granted,
when it’s with your subordinates the equation is don’t take things for
granted, but when it comes to you ha can take things for granted!!
